 I started playing FFXI with mixed views on what I thought the game would be. At first, honestly, I didn't like it. I didn't know anyone in the game and was bored with the slow leveling pace. It took me about a week of on/off playing to really start to enjoy the game and all aspects thereof. Originally, I had wanted to get on the Ragnarok server since I had heard that many US players played there. Due to dumb luck, I ended up on Fairy and have happily remained there since.
I took a year break from XI from August 2005 - 2006 when I started college and waived the addiction. I've started to casually play again and enjoy myself ingame with my friends and thus this site was revamped.
